I have received an email from London’s Trinity United Church Community Centre about sponsoring refugees from the crisis in and around Syria. Paul Browning, a member there, writes:
“After attending a workshop on sponsoring refugees which Rob was a part of, Trinity United Church Community Centre has established a task group to sponsor refugees.Trinity is a United Church based community centre who has no doctrinal requirements, only the values of respect, kindness and fairness. We have atheists, Pagans and Christians on our board. We are well connected to organizations like CCLC and InterHealthCC. We have 2 doctors on the task group and a Muslim. We are in the process of raising money and in the meantime are helping 2 people each sponsor a relative who is a refugee.
